SPAIN AND PORTUGAL ... one year late, and pre-good camera

These are my pictures of our transatlantic trip a year ago.  It was part of the Canterbury trip.

Just to prove I was there

Above and below, this is the believed burial site of James the apostle.  Above is his casket.  This cathedral is the 3rd most important Christian sight, after Jerusalem and St. Peter's Basilica.

JUST A PRE-POST FOR THOSE WHO ARE WONDERING ABOUT JJ

This post is to let you know that JJ has not been forgotten.  Great plans are being made, but we don't want to take a chance on leaking vital information that would hinder his escape and exciting plans for his future.  I know you are all waiting with bated breath ... but alas, you must wait.  Stay tune.

ONE YEAR LATE ... CANTERBURY

It has taken me a year to put up this post.  That means it is pre-great camera.  I love England, and this was one of my favorite trips there.  We stayed in a little village just outside of Canterbury.  That is where this first two, and the last of these pictures were taken.  The rest were taken at the Canterbury Cathedral, and the canals of Canterbury.  I can't figure out how to label pictures, so there you go.

WHAT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!

Everyone has been posting such great pictures.  Thanks to all, because I love pictures.  I have been hoarding thousands for ages, and just don't know where to begin.  There is the trip to Spain, England, Portugal, Brandson/Nauvoo, New England/Canada cruise with Grandma, the Caribbean cruise with my sisters, Grandma's birthday party, Antarctica (being held hostage on Greg's computer) and of course, our trip to the coast.  Greg and I took a fun drive over to Monterey and back when we took Grandma to Sam's before the "Family Thing."  I took my new camera along, and on the way home got a lot of great pictures.   In fact,  I took about a thousand.  Only about 200 or so are my favorites:)  I thought I would post a few at a time when there is nothing else to talk about, which is almost daily.  So I'm going by category.  First installment .... flowers.  I know you can't wait to see what will be coming next! Trees?  Waterfalls? Cliff coastlines?  Greg jumping in the air? Funny animals? You never know.  If you have a preference, speak up.  If not I'll choose my own.  And since this is mostly a place to store my pictures where my computer won't eat them, and since only a few of the best, smartest and talented people on the planet watch my post, I will most likely be choosing what is next by myself.  This is only a test .....

A New Baby In The Family

Happy Mother's Day to me!  Greg surprised me with this absolutely perfect Maltese puppy of my dreams.  I am SOOO in love with this baby girl!  Her name is Lucy.  Maggie and Sophie seem happy to have a baby sister and Lucy loves the big girls.  She is only two pounds and not expected to get larger than 5-6 pounds.  Maltese are called "the comforters" and I have found it to be true.

JJ Tells The Truth! Lie Detectors Don't Lie! Where Do You Stand?

It is now official.  JJ has been telling the truth!  The brave little goose who was banished to the goose ghetto sump, and placed under lock and key was no vicious criminal, but an innocent little web-footed loyal friend trying to protect his three little boys.  He was reluctant to turn in the real culprit for fear of further retaliation to himself and other banished pets in the ghetto.  OK people.  Now it's time to rally to the cause.  Are we going to allow such injustice?  What is our society coming to?  Let's let JJ know he is not alone.   He has been hurt by the lack of interest, and I must admit I feel like I am the only one who cares.  Are there any brave souls out there willing to take a stand?
